After all what has been revealed by now (by lets call them "alternative researchers") it borders on ridiculousness to even ask the question "if Crooks acted alone", of course he did not act alone and of course he was supplied with "various items" like an electronic transmitter and IEDs, which were supposedly found in his car / van (or whatever, the story changed a few times). I dont think that he bought such things at the local 7/11, so I guess it must have been supplied to him by "interested parties", for example by three letter agencies who just so happen to have such things.
