Jim Humble's MMS Fraud

The 'Miracle Mineral Solution' has has been renamed to "Master Miracle Solution" to avoid the media and the F.D.A.
M.M.S. is an acronym for "Miracle Mineral Solution", though it has donned other names, such as "Advanced Oxygen Therapy". If you are not already cringing from the marketing, you may be when you discover that it is chlorine dioxide (oxygenated chlorine). This product is so dishonest that even its names were based upon lies. Its acronym has been re-translated to represent "Miracle Mineral Supplement", but it is not a supplement, nor a mineral, and it most certainly is not a miracle.
It is the same compound that is used to bleach flour, and to disinfect the municipal water supplies. This bleaching process is one of the core reasons why processed carbohydrates are so destructive to the human body. In addition to being nutritionally destroyed by the bleaching process, the exposure to the chlorine leaves behind dioxin compounds in the food, as chlorine reactions always do.
Promoters of M.M.S. claim that it cures AIDS, herpes, cancer, malaria, TB, and "many more diseases", which are unnamed. Snake oils never had it so good. The M.M.S. fraud would be amusing if it weren't so potentially dangerous. It is primarily being promoted by Jim Humble and Adam Abraham.
It is not surprising that the same people who sell chlorine dioxide as a dietary supplement, also sell detox food pads. The pads, by the way, simply turn brown when any moisture is applied to them. They cannot actually remove toxins as advertised, or any microscopic parasites through the feet. Toxins and parasites are generally found deep in the internal organs, far away from, and protected from the feet. The chemicals in the foot pads, however, do have the strong potential to be absorbed through the skin, to actually cause toxicity. Remember, that the pads must allow the movement of water into them, after all, and this means that the water-soluble chemicals will likewise escape to the skin for absorption.
Consumers of M.M.S. are told to mix sodium chlorite with citric acid to produce chlorine dioxide. This is partly due to the fact that concentrated chlorine dioxide is explosive, and therefore illegal to ship to customers, so they must complete the finishing chemical process themselves. Customers are advised to take several drops per day, inside an acidic fruit drink. Customers are sometimes warned by sellers (sometimes not) that they should expect to become extremely ill soon after using it, and that their symptoms of poisoning are just an indication that the "healing" has begun. Then customers are told begin reducing the amount of drops that are used daily, until the "miracle" solution stops making them violently ill. This self-poisoning is supposed to continue perpetually for a lifetime. Its sellers claim that it kills all pathogens, parasites, diseases, and it even removes all heavy metals too!
Bleaching agents are very effective for cleaning toilets of fungi and other undesirable pathogens, but they should never be consumed into the human body. Bleach kills pathogens by first poisoning them, and then corroding them.
"Amazing as it might seem, when used correctly, the immune system can use this killer to only attack those germs, bacteria, viruses, molds, and other microorganisms that are harmful to the body...
"It has been used in stock yards to kill pathogens on meat, and on slaughtered chickens; it has been used to sterilize hospital floors and benches, and to kill pathogens in water works without killing friendly bacteria for over 70 years...
"If you notice diarrhea, or even vomiting that is not a bad sign... It is not real diarrhea as the body is just cleaning out, and it is not caused by bacteria or virus. When the poison is gone, the diarrhea is gone."
-- themiraclemineralsupplement.com
The mastermind behind the M.M.S. con, Jim Humble, actually tells his victims to ignore their diarrhea, since their diarrhea is not real diarrhea. Bleach compounds are poisonous to all living organisms, regardless of size or function, so M.M.S. does not just harm the harmful pathogens. Chlorine dioxide may be used on dead meats and farm equipment to sterile them, but no farmer would ever feed it to one of his living animals. The above quotes express an extremely manipulative personality, who wishes for potential customers to think of M.M.S. as being as pure and organic as the range-fed animals on old McDonald's farm. There is no such thing as "friendly bacteria" on the surface of dead meat or the bloodied surfaces of slaughter houses, where bleaching agents such as chlorine dioxide (M.M.S.) are used.
If a solution such as chlorine dioxide did work as Humble claimed, then it would work in the same despicable manner as chemotherapy. It would poison the entire body, and hopefully kill-off the weaker (diseased) cells first; but it would also have the side-effect of damaging all healthy cells too. Chlorine is used to sterilize hospitals and slaughter houses because it is so effectively toxic. The very term sterilization means to kill everything, which is something the fraudsters are apparently unaware of, as shown by their claims. The same is true for the water supply chlorination. If chlorine dioxide were effective, then tap water would be ideal for our health, along with bleached white flour, white sugar, and bleached white rice, but those who regularly consume these bleached carbohydrates are the unhealthiest in society. The one common thread amongst the unhealthy carbohydrates is bleaching with chlorine. The chlorination of water in the United States, in the early twentieth century, happened at the beginning of the heart disease and cancer epidemics.
This product ("M.M.S.") is particularly dangerous, because those who sell it are encouraging people to ignore the symptoms of toxicity. Vomiting and diarrhea are clear indications that the body is being made unwell, and that something really bad is making it violently ill -- not healthier. It is why 'food poisoning' is so unpleasant, and it is also why drinking chlorine solutions will produce the same effect. If any medication were causing nausea and vomiting, then it is always recommended by everyone that its use be discontinued, with exceptions being made for chemotherapy. When these symptoms occur from a bad reaction with a chemical, it generally means that the person's life is being endangered by continued usage.
The Effects of Chlorine on the Body
The environmental protection agency website explains that chlorine dioxide reduces activity in laboratory rats, and produces neurological disorders. However, there have been very few studies on the effects of orally consumed chlorine dioxide, because governmental agencies do not assume that people will be drinking a chlorine bleach as a supplement.
Chlorine has been known for years to both cause and worsen respiratory problems, including asthma and pneumonia. As a thyroid crippling halogen, chlorine damages enzymes across the board to decimate the immune system upon ingestion or inhalation. Chlorine causes magnesium deficiency, which can cause almost any symptom you can imagine, from migraine headaches, high blood pressure, chemical sensitivity, and in severe cases: sudden death, according to Mark J. Eisenberg, MD.. When such magnesium deficiencies are combined with MSG intake, it sometimes leads to sudden and unexpected heart failure; even amongst young people. Chlorine also decreases the absorption of calcium and phosphorus while increasing their excretion. This loss of calcium into the urine leads to bone-related problems including osteoporosis. Chlorine has been known to irritate the skin, the eyes, and the respiratory system. It has a tendency to react with other chemicals (especially acids) to produce even more toxic byproducts. Some of chlorine's byproducts are known as trihalomethanes (THM's) that are typically found in municipal water. An example of a THM is chloroform, a well documented cancer causing agent. Studies have repeatedly demonstrated that chlorine and THM's are leading causes of colon and bladder cancers, as well as diabetes, kidney stones, and sudden heart attacks.
Chlorine-tainted water changes the preferred HDL cholesterol into LDL cholesterol, creates free radicals inside the body that require more antioxidant vitamins to neutralize, and it destroys fatty acids that are needed by the heart. According to the book, Coronaries Cholesterol Chlorine by Dr. Joseph M. Price, chlorination was first suspected of causing heart disease during the Korean War, because the men who had canteens with the highest amounts of chlorine also had the greatest damage to their arteries. Physically fit soldiers in their twenties had arteries reminiscent of their seventy-year-old grandfathers.

Hi.
Thanks for helping spread the word about Jim Humble and his scam.
I have also done research into the subject and put up a website if people are after more information.

Thanks. We are one of the few alternative health sites that will go after alternative frauds, regardless of risking our popularity. This isn't a popularity contest for us, and we've taken lots of flack. We have already upset at least one seller of M.M.S.. Take a look at this nugget that came in the mail:
Quote:

Subject: Another Fraud Of Alternative Medicine: M.M.S
Message: Hello Sarah, I just finished reading your rather shallow article on MMS. I'm assuming that one day when you grow up you would like to be a jounalist? Well let me give you a bit of advise. It's okay to poo poo something but you really should do some research on whether (in this case mms) there is any serious literature out there in the WWW on the benefits of MMS.
http://************.com/ Here's a good place to start. Or you could work your way up to working for FOX news. Thank you for your time.
Regards, John Chard.
We suspect that the name is false, of course. It was entertaining, though. For what it is worth, being a real journalist nowadays is like being a real doctor. The job is to lie, mislead, and keep the masses distracted away from what is being done to them. I hope Sarah never becomes a real journalist, and I pray the same for myself.

Hey guys,
I understand the dangers of taking MMS. However I had herpes for years and I would have outbreaks maybe once every 3 months. I took MMS by mixing it with DMSO and rubbing it on my skin in the problem area. I do it maybe once every week or two and I haven't had an outbreak in over a year...maybe it doesn't actually cure herpes, but its preventing my outbreaks.

It wasn't the MMS that helped. Chlorine is actually known to aggravate herpes outbreaks. It was the DMSO that crippled it -- probably by breaking down its proteins. You'll get better results next time without the MMS, and without the risks.

it scares me to death that my daughter is taking this!! i don't know what to do -can't send her the site - if it's from me - because she has total faith in her father. he is NOT a doctor nor does he have ANY experience in the medical field. please help me decide what to do.

Don't bother trying to win anybody over, because that is just wasting precious time on something that may not be unfruitful. You should immediately contact your local department of child protective services, and inform them that the child is being poisoned regularly with an industrial bleaching compound that the F.D.A. has issued warnings about. Tell them that they can verify the dangerousness of it by asking a poison control center about chlorine dioxide, or the F.D.A. Be sure to mention that this compound is an explosive. Mention that this is being used for the purpose of "medical neglect", instead of getting her standard medicine -- to get the biggest impact. Call us if you need any assistance, and we're willing to call it in for you if you provide us the necessary information. He is probably feeding her iodine too, as a "supplement". I'm sure the local sheriff's department would love to ask her about his "medical" care. If you don't do anything, then you're just as guilty as he is.

MMS gave me a bad headache with only two or three drops. I used it to curb my flu symptoms. It did chase my flu away once, but did not help me at all the second time. I suspect that chlorine dioxide causes neurological damage, as well as blood cell damage. Jim says that it will kill all the bacteria in your teeth, but it felt like the enamel was being taken off instead. I wish there was some objective research done on this. It is difficult to get good information on this subject. You either get parrot sites or full frontal attacks from the mainstream. If you take the skeptic's side of this issue, they label you an agent of big pharma. I am just a truthseeker that was duped by this scam. I am glad that I didn't suggest this product to my friends.

Nobody will accuse us of shilling for Big Pharma. Here is the rich irony of the whole situation. While these people love to play victims and martyrs for the sake of alternative medicine; the fact of the matter is that Big Pharma and the F.D.A. would not touch these people with a 10 foot pole. You see, they are helping Big Pharma by discrediting alternative medicine, so that people like yourself will run back into their greedy open arms.
Now take colloidal silver, which is a real and effective medicine that the establishment still uses for certain things -- they don't ignore that when it is sold as a cheap alternative.
For the establishment it's like: armed intimidation raids to illegally remove vitamin B17 from health food stores $134,032, disbarring physicians who openly recommend alternatives $52,031, legal fees $23,382,245 -- MMS... priceless.

Another M.M.S. salesman? These messages have become almost comical. I don't believe the thing about family and friends, by the way; assuming that this person actually has family and friends. Very few people can talk their friends into even supplementing with omega-3 -- much less bleach that is only promoted with Internet based shams and spam (like the post above). The only type of person who would actually push M.M.S. onto his family and friends is, you guessed it, a M.M.S. salesman. Do any of our decent readers chase their family and friends down to promote specific supplements? I think not, and that really makes the point. Either he's lying, or he's lying, in other words. We have little patience with such people.
One of the things that sets The Health Wyze Report apart from our peer publications is the amount of serious and heavy duty research that we do using multiple credible, verifiable, and independent 3rd party sources. We commit to at least 6 hours of intensive medical research every time that we write, and that's just for the short articles.
In other words, we do not use the 'curezone' or 'Wikipedia' as credible sources of information. The curezone? That's a joke, right? These two popularity-based sites are pathetic examples of how spammers, corporations, and political herds can manipulate the information if given a chance to overrun the nobler people who have something meaningful to write.
This isn't about popularity, and it's certainly not about giving slime like the person above a forum to spew his marketing garbage. Normally we would just censor out such comments, which are obviously contrary to the welfare of our readership; but this time, I believe his post helped me to make a few points.

The only thing that MMS is beneficial is using it as a sterilisation tool meaning you could use it to sterilise your toothbrush, kitchen counter-top, or mop the floor. The list goes on.
Using MMS for internal purpose is a no-no because it WILL kill all living things whether it is bad or good. It actually destroys the minerals especially MAGNESIUM, which makes you more chemical sensitive.
I found MMS to be quite useful as a mouthwash, but other than that... no.
Jim Humble is a fraud. Period.

Its been at least an year since I encountered MMS and here is my take on the nice and suspicious part of this product
Ten things Nice about Jim Humble, his book and MMS:
1. Great testimonials (From Cancer to cold except malaria)
2. Part2 of the eBook MMS available on request
3. The chapter on how to make MMS in part2 of the book
4. The price-Just 20$
5. The duration the solution lasts
6. The hope that it generates
7. The anti vaccine drive (most proponent of alternative medicines are identified with)
8. The panacea on earth
9. The introduction to “Why Animals Don’t get heart attack but people do “ in part2 of the book
10. Excellent relief as far as oral hygiene is concerned
Ten things Suspicious about Jim Humble, his book and MMS:
1. The healthwyze report –http://healthwyze.org/index.php/component/content/article/320-jim-humbles-mms- fraud.html
2. The doctored photos in the book
3. Posting favorable MMS links with scam tag ( if you Google MMS Scam you might end up with an MMS SELLER)
4. Jims claim that he is the inventor of automatic garage door -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garage_door_opener
5. He also claims that his proposal to cure malaria by many organisations was rejected but no proof of it is given(No rejection letter)
6. He is an aeronautical Engineer, an inventor but he does not possess any skills to launch even a template based website, he rants about his short comings regarding this in part1 of the book and how a ten year old web developer made his life hell.
7. Dr.Segura’s Warning -
http://www.examiner.com/human-rights-in-national/mms-alert-conmen-convince-gulf- residents-to-drink-chlorine
8. No peer reviewed articles
9. The realization that testimonials can be spurious
10. The new protocol- Three drops eight times a day for three weeks(Unlike the four hour malaria cure)
Don’t get annoyed with my poor English. Its my second language. Help me reconstruct these sentences and together we will present an unbiased view

Hey Chris;
Relax. Receiving a positive HIV diagnosis really means nothing, because we have no real way of testing for HIV. You can be diagnosed as HIV if do the test while you're sick with the flu. What's more, diagnoses are often made in response to your answers to their questions (such as, "Are you a homosexual?" ).

Having come across MMS and the glowing testimonials scattered all over the web - I decided to try it to cure a tooth abscess. I brushed my teeth, and flossed gargled with the diluted solution. Going one step further I placed the activated and water diluted solution against my skin (using a soaked cotton wool pad for no more than a minute) under my right jaw where the abscess was causing my glands to be inflamed. I hoped that the solution were permeate through my skin thus treating the infection from both sides. I really thought the diluted solution would be safe on my skin - because Humble recommends it for sunburn.
Unfortunately, the solution was not safe, and I was left with a burn to my lower jaw. And all it reminded me of was the photographs of skin burns caused by spilt chemotherapy liquids.
I think it was my guardian angel watching out for me - sending me a clear message to not believe the hype about MMS to do serious due dilligence in the future - to follow my path to full health using only gifts provided by Mother Nature. To under no circumstance ingest MMS.
I agree with your article - people are looking away from big pharma - want to take charge of their own healing - and MMS is a real rotten apple - maybe even a construct of big pharma - so if they can't kill us one way they will kill us another. Whilst at the same time discrediting true alternative medicine. Thank you for writing the article.
